When uninstalling Autodesk Design Review 2012, following error message displays:

Although the dialog shown in Fig 1 is related to Autodesk Design Review, a similar error message could potentially show up when trying to uninstall any Autodesk Product. Error 1905 is a Microsoft Windows error and its occurrence is rare.

Solution:
This problem could potentially occur when uninstalling any software product. This is a permission issue that prevents the file from being removed during installation.
- Ensure you have administrator rights on the machine
- Type Regedit at the Windows Command line
- In the registry, locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREAUTODESK<product name>
- Browse to the folder/file displayed in the error message and select the file
- On the Edit menu select Permissions
- Set the permissions to “Full Control”
