Driver Hp Pavilion Zv6000 Xpress Rating: 5,7/10 2148 votes

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion ZV6000 laptop. After installing Windows 7, the audio driver is apparently incompatible. Are there any driver options - 1173645. All equipment facilities installed on HP Pavilion ZV6000 (PZ992EA#ABZ) are listed below. In order to facilitate the search for the necessary driver, choose one of the Search methods: either by Device Name (by clicking on a particular item, i.e. Conexant AC-Link Audio) or by Device ID (i.e. PCI VEN1002&DEV4370).

XpressHi there, I asked for help in the CE > HP forum earlier and the guy that helped me recommended that if I needed more I should come here. Here's what he advised based on my question regarding my video card: (I have more questions though... see below)
Driver Hp Pavilion Zv6000 Xpress
That video card is integrated into the motherboard, so no upgrading. Any ATi Xpress or Intel GMA solutions are integrated. That Xpress chip uses hypermemory which means that it borrows memory from the computer's RAM. I got this off of notebookreview.com: 'Download ATI Tray Tools and install it if you haven't already - then go Tools & Options, General Options, Advanced, and uncheck 'Enable ATT Shared Memory'. That should disable it. To find out if you can use a higher speed RAM, go to www.cpuid.com and download either CPU-Z or PC Wizard. CPU-Z gives basic info about the motherboard, current memory and the CPU. PC Wizard will tell you just about everything you want to know about your laptop.
DriverOk so, I got CPU-Z and PC Wizard, they're great, and told me (more or less) what I need to know. The problem came after I installed ATI Tray Tools... and tried to run it... my laptop blinked to the XP blue screen for about .26 seconds and then rebooted... I tried it twice just to make sure, and it did the same thing each time. I then proceeded to uninstall it and log on here to find some help.
My other question is how to tell if my laptop has an open PCI slot (using those programs) and also if so... what type of video card could I get for it (or what type would I need maybe...) to play new games... (also that would fit in the current case of my laptop.

I really hope that made sense. If it was unclear let me know and I'll try to explain. Thanks in advance for any help I receive.

Hp Pavilion Zv6000 Memory

I have a very old machine (HP Pavilion zv6000) with a RADEON Mobility Xpress 200m graphics card. Apparently, the drivers for Vista are supposed to work with Win7, (and by extension, I should think, Win8). These drivers are contained in the Catalyst Control Center (CCC) v. 10.2. However, they will not install from CCC, but return the error 'failed to find any installable components', including when run as an administrator or in compatibility mode. After much searching, I figured out I could access the proper drivers directly from the Update Driver wizard by choosing 'Browse for driver software', then 'Let me pick from a list of drivers', then 'Have Disk', browsing to C:ATISupport(something long)PackagesDriversDisplayLH_INFCL95951.inf, and then choosing RADEON Mobility Xpress 200 series from the list. Windows does not recognize these drivers as compatible with my hardware, but I choose to install anyway. However, it immediately tells me that the drivers are not compatible with this version of windows. There are 3 instances of 200 series in the list, as well as 3 instances of 'secondary', and I tried all 6. Win8 runs great, but I'm sick of the crappy screen resolution! Am I just out of luck with an ancient laptop?
